BIG GAME SOCIAL ACTIVATION
Mountain Dew Kickstart is all about three awesome things combined: Dew. Juice. Caffeine. The release of puppymonkeybaby for the 2016 Super Bowl got the conversation started. We developed a social media activation that would keep it going from kickoff to the trophy presentation and beyond.
We took to Twitter from the moment the spot was released, interacting 1-to-1 with major influencers and brands. And because Kickstart is three awesome things combined, we created custom mash ups tailored for individual influencers in real time.
At the end of the night, social sentiment for the spot shifted from neutral to positive, and Mountain Dew Kickstart held the #2 spot in Share of Voice with 200K+ mentions, driven by organic engagement rather than paid support.
